She represents the electoral district of Notre-Dame-de-Gr?ce—Lachine as a member of the New Democratic Party.Prior to being elected, Morin taught French in the Dramatic Arts program at Cavelier de LaSalle high school while completing her bachelor’s degree in education. In 2009, after being elected vice-president of the University of Sherbrooke Students’ Federation, Morin was elected to the board of the Mouvement Estrien pour le Fran?ais, an organization dedicated to the defense and promotion of the French language which opposes all political initiatives that aim to institutionalize bilingualism in Quebec.She is currently a member of the Standing Committee on Transport, Infrastructure and Communities. She is also chair of the New Democratic Party Youth Caucus since November 1, 2011.
